HuffPo: Conservatives "Insist The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion Are Real"

Real

Bold words...

No, radical fringe. We're not going to prove anything to you anymore because we can show you our collective drivers licenses and birth certificates and our 17-year judicial records and any other documents or accomplishments and you'd just come up with another freak reason to deny, deny, deny. Though you'll insist the black copters and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion real. So, go on: collect in your basements and bomb shelters and fear chambers.

... coming from an outlet that regularly peddles feverish anti-Jewish conspiracy theories:

The impressive pervasiveness of this mindset throughout the "liberal" political spectrum may be better judged by a column that appeared in Huffington Post by former FBI agent, former Republican, and now Jew sleuth, Coleen Rowley... Ms. Rowley's article is delicately titled "Never Doubt That a Small Group of Thoughtful, Neo-Cons Can Destroy The World." Her thesis is Jew-conspiracy boilerplate: The right wing ruling Likud Party in Israel wanted a war with innocent, fragile and harmless Iraq... Citing a left-wing blog authority, Rowley lists the top 12 neo-cons in America... including Wolfowitz, Feith, Kristol, Perle, Bolton, Podhoretz, Kagan and Ledeen... the "second tier"... includes Joe Lieberman, Charles Krauthammer, John Podhoretz, Jackie Mason, Ron Silver, Ted Koppel and Ken Pollack.

To explain the list, she approvingly quotes from the blogger who provided it: "Neo-cons are conservative Jewish journalists and politicians linked to the right-wing Israeli Likud who support United States corporate, political, cultural, and military imperialism with the use of pre-emptive World War if necessary... to rid themselves of the Muslim Menace."

In fairness to Rowley, Jews really are all-powerful. As you'll learn from another Huffington Post story, the Israel Lobby even writes Saturday Night Live sketches to promote their war mongering neo-conservative agenda. Seriously. And the Lobby is probably also why you never learned that Israel was behind the murder of anti-Syrian Lebanese politician Pierre Gemayel. That brave expose was left to anti-Israel academic Mark Levine to publish, which he did on HuffPo.

It's too bad none of this has ever been asked by one of Obama's planted HuffPo questioners. I wonder if he'd admit that the only reason he's so overtly pro-Israel is because of the Israel Lobby.
