Now They're Using Hospital Rooms As Torture Chambers

Torture

International media outlets were so obsessed with Gaza's hospitals during Cast Lead that they worked with apologists for international terrorism to fake anti-Israel videos.

They somehow missed all those times when Hamas used hospitals for military purposes - including the time they emptied the Shifa maternity ward and converted the hospital into an operational base, all while setting up independent hospitals to treat their soldiers.

But there was a war going on and Israel was trying to defend itself. So honestly - what do you expect? There's a reason why "anti-Israel media" gets about 13 million hits on Google.

Now Hamas is using hospitals to torture Fatah operatives, which they started doing almost as soon as the ceasefire kicked in. And still no robust global outcry. Even Fatah politicians - who know very well that the Palestinians can get away with anything - are amazed by the sheer brazenness of Hamas's crimes:

The Palestinian Health Ministry, run by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, accused Hamas' security apparatus Saturday of commandeering a number of hospital wards in the Gaza Strip for the purpose of converting them into interrogation and imprisonment compounds. According to Palestinian news agency Ma'an, the Palestinian Health Ministry claimed that Hamas members expelled them and full medical teams from hospital wards despite the serious security situation. A communique put out by the ministry said that "... Hamas militias have returned to their old ways and have expelled all the medical staff responding to the calls of the homeland (to continue their work.) Unfortunately, these same militias used the medical centers, especially in a number of hospitals, converting them into centers for interrogation, torture, and imprisonment."

There's an unkind interpretation of journalistic silence which suggests that they're not so much anti-Israel as pro-Hamas.
