Watchers Council Nominations - Has Deja Vu Always Been This Depressing?

Obama Worship

Another in MR's ongoing series of "I can't believe I'm this far behind on Watchers Council posts" Watchers Council post. At least Council posts - being as much analysis as straightforward news - tend to stay relevant. Depressingly relevant. So when Soccer Dad takes apart the land for peace formula with which faux sophisticates is so enamored - perennially topical. When the Colossus of Rhodey points out the way that moral stagnation ends with blaming Israel for anti-Semitic violence - that's an institutionalized habit that anti-Israel partisans will always go to absurd lengths to hold on to.

Does it seem like every week has another example of the media destroying good people while refusing to perform due diligence on Obama? The posts from Rhymes With Right and Right Truth might help explain why. It's the shallowness of Obama's appeal - usefully illustrated by Bookworm Room - that's so striking.

But at least the Democratic Party isn't tangled up in ACORN's electoral and financial corruption. That would be something that media outlets would be expected to investigate. Since they're not, it's probably safe to assume that the Provocateur's detailed and extensive history of the organization is inaccurate. Weird - it seemed pretty comprehensive.

My own post was about Britain handing itself over to political Islam. Cheat Seeking Missiles's post was about UNRWA's complicity in the growth of political Islam. JoshuaPundit's post was about how Israel stopped short of uprooting the political Islamists in Gaza. Good times.

The Glittering Eye reminded everybody that the stimulus package is not going to work. The only bright spot? The Razor thinks that it'll fail so bad that the GOP might eventually be able to take back power. Maybe.
