Top US Communication Listserv: Hey, How About Some Anti-Israel David Duke Pamphlets?

The National Communication Association (NCA) is the one of two main umbrella organizations for Communication scholars. It's almost a hundred years old, has thousands of members, publishes many of the field's top journals, and oversees the country's largest annual Comm conference. NCA also manages a gigantic daily listserv called CRTNET where everything relevant to the field - conferences, paper calls, job postings, etc - gets posted. It's very much moderated and supposed to be reserved for relevant academic and disciplinary business. Apparently now highly relevant to the field of Communication: rank anti-Semitism:
You Want Proof of the Zionist Control of Congress - Here it is! On January 9th the U.S. Congress passed House Resolution 34 in support of the Zionist Terrorist Massacre in Gaza, a loss of life for Palestine proportionate to one thousand 9-11 attacks on America! By David DukeAll you have to do is look at the resolution recently passed by the House of Representatives (HRES 34 EH) with only 5 dissenting votes, to know who rules America. It condemns Hamas and the people of Gaza as terrorists but has no mention of the decades long Israeli occupation and strangulation of the West Bank and Gaza, or the bloody terrorism of tens of thousands of Palestinian men, women and children who have been killed, maimed, tortured or made homeless by years of Israel's terrorism.
Therein proceed another 30 paragraphs of explication about "Jewish supremacy," "Jewish media," and - naturally - Holocaust denial. That makes it two times in two weeks where liberal bien pensants have made common cause with white supremacists to better demonize Israel. At least they mean well!
NCA's policy is that they'll reject posts that don't meet their submission guidelines, including the requirement that "the tone of CRTNET is expected to remain professional." Although fairness to them that pamphlet was a very measured anti-Semitic diatribe.
UPDATE 2009-01-16 - CRTNET is now claiming that they're an unmoderated listserv. That's a little weird since they have "submission guidelines" that emphasize professional standards and civility. It's also going to be news to Penn State and the University of Iowa and the University of Oklahoma since they, like me, are under the impression that it's a moderated listserv just like it's always been.
