Hamas Stumbles Into War Crime They Haven't Committed Yet, Quickly Remedies Oversight (Plus: Israel Embedding Camera Teams To Film Hamas War Crimes)

War Crimes

See? And here I thought that Hamas had exhausted every possible war crime. I totally forgot about this one. But, being the cretins that they are, they remembered:

IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. -Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi said Tuesday Hamas terrorists were attempting to infiltrate rank and file troops while wearing IDF uniform. Speaking at the Kensset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Ashkenazi said the military identified and demolished many buildings where tunnel exits were located. Channel 2 reported that one of the tunnels already had an opening on its Israeli side, complete with ladders and staircases, and that its discovery at the 12 hour prevented a terror attack. One Palestinian was killed inside the tunnel when it was demolished... Based on intelligence and information obtained by the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration, the IDF has determined that close to 450 of those killed are known Hamas operatives. The IDF further believes that among the remaining 500, a significant number are also Hamas operatives.

The IDF is operating under nearly impossible military and diplomatic conditions. They've taken to embedding specially trained camera teams with their urban warfare units, hoping to preempt the inevitable "war crime" din that arises every time they attack one of Hamas's militarized hospitals, mosques, and schools. Even Arab journalists are recognizing that the "Israelis value human life more than [they] do":

And yet somehow international human rights groups have seen fit to accuse Israel of the most absurd atrocities - for which there is no evidence - and to ignore hours of filmed footage meticulously documenting Hamas's war crimes. Probably just an oversight.
