Hey, Anyone Know What Party That Blagojevich Guy Is From?

It's time for everybody's favorite game of Guess The Party. CNN's banner writer didn't seem to know. Neither did the Associated Press:
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich has been arrested in Chicago on corruption charges stemming from the selection of the successor to President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat. U.S. Attorney's office spokesman Randall Samborn says both Blagojevich and his chief of staff John Harris were arrested Tuesday. Authorities aren't yet releasing details about those charges. However, a federal law enforcement official tells The Associated Press the governor is accused of corruption charges. The official says the charges stem from the selection process of a successor to Obama.
Nor does the hometown Chicago Trib - though they do use the D word way at the bottom when they mention Nixon's burglary "of Democratic offices at the Watergate complex":
Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff were arrested today by FBI agents on federal corruption charges. Click here for the latest updates from the Breaking News Center. A three-year federal corruption investigation of pay-to-play politics in Gov. Rod Blagojevich's administration has expanded to include his impending selection of a new U.S. senator to succeed President-elect Barack Obama, the Tribune has learned.
ABC's Chicago affiliate seems similarly in the dark:
Governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested on federal charges Tuesday morning at his Northwest Side home... A source told ABC7's Chuck Goudie that Gov. Blagojevich was taken into federal custody at his home on Sunnyside around 7 a.m. His chief of staff, John Harris, was also arrested. "There was no advance notice given to either individual," said Ross Rice, FBI. The affidavit was unsealed around 8:30 a.m. ... [and] accused Gov. Blagojevich of, among other things, trying to obtain campaign contributions up front in consideration of an appointment to the Senate seat left open by Pres.- Elect Barack Obama.
Not even Fox News deigns to mention it. Only Reuters has enough researchers on staff to figure it out. Good for Reuters.
