Carter: Obama "Promised To Me" That He'll Immediately Tee Off On Israel [Video]
The guy who is too anti-Semitic for liberal Jewish groups and got called out as a bigot by Israeli diplomats is pretty psyched about Middle East hope and change:
Is there anything dumber than Jimmy "I lost Iran to political Islam" Carter bragging about how he neglected the American economy so he could focus on stabilizing the Middle East? As it so happens, yes: Carter's assertion that Clinton and Bush waited until their last year in office to start working on the peace process is in fact dumber. But he's always had problems with history, what with his "Israeli authorities" persecuted Jesus thing and his 242 set Israel's borders thing and - well - with how he's wrong about the broad swath of anti-Israel myths that he peddles.
But in his mind he's finally found a President who can mobilize the inadequately anti-Israel Europeans and aid the oh-so-persecuted Palestinians in their brave resistance.
