Actually "The World" Is Kind Of Unhappy With Obama

I was pretty sure that this was going to be my favorite moment of in the tank press bias. But the more I think about the last few months - and maybe this is just my loathing for the LA Times speaking - the more I'm kind of a fan of this one:
Today John McCain finally began to tell the country about his own efforts to regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the Democrats’ incredible inaction. Yes, as many of us had urged, McCain finally talked about the economy, and the conservative blogs went nuts. Republican bloggers know that McCain has to talk about this, because the economy is the top issue concerning Americans, and McCain has a good story to tell — even if it’s one that the media has been ignoring... How did the L.A. Times cover McCain’s stunning speech taking on this core economic concern? By pretending McCain never said it, and by quoting Barack Obama talking about how McCain is scared to talk about the economy.
It's not just that the media was so abjectly stupid or even that they were so insufferably pretentious about their abject stupidity. It's that they didn't cover what they should have covered. Nothing on Obama's wanna-be Nazi associates or terrorist pals - or his wretched policy stances.
That last part seems to have become a bit of a habit. Now they're seemingly unable to temper their "the world loves Obama" hagiography with any suggestion of "the world is pretty pissed about Obama's economic policy." Which wouldn't be a concern except the world is actually pretty pissed about Obama's economic policy. South America and Europe are already curtailing their trade ties and Asia is about to follow their lead:
Many expressed unease about Obama's pledges to vigorously enforce trade laws and criticism of a pending trade pact with South Korea that he says fails to address an imbalance in auto shipments. The Democrats, traditionally viewed as more protectionist on trade matters than Republicans, now control the presidency and Congress. Obama has said he is in favor of free trade agreements if they benefit the United States. He has criticized the one with South Korea.
Or we could keep getting articles titled "Obama's ship of hope." That's helpful.
