Two new polls show that about three out of every four American Jews will be voting for Obama in a week. That's a lot of people who won't be able to say "I didn't know" when the Obama administration demolishes the US-Israel alliance at the expense of American and Israeli security.

In 2002 there were 55 suicide bombings that killed 220 people. Then Israel started building the security fence. In 2007 there was 1 suicide bombing that killed 3 people. Barack Obama's response: the fence is a counterproductive "wall between two nations":

"The problem is that President Bush's neglect of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the first two years of his term, coupled with the distraction of the invasion and occupation of Iraq, has kept us from aggressively promoting the roadmap process. Similarly, the creation of a wall dividing the two nations is yet another example of the neglect of this Administration in brokering peace."... Is that really what the security fence is? A 'wall dividing the two nations'? 'Another example of the neglect of this Administration in brokering peace'?

And it wasn't because the Palestinians weren't trying. Even though only 13 Israelis were killed by terrorism total during the year, attempts remained stable and attacks via mortars and rockets dramatically increased. It's just that actual physical bombers couldn't get past the fence.

Saudi Arabia - which is not under constant threat of invasion - gets to surround itself with a $40 billion fence. Russia - which is not under constant threat of invasion - gets to surround itself with a security fence built with Israeli expertise. But not Israel, because that violates the central precept of finding Unity in Hope N' Change. As a reminder, this is the nation that Obama doesn't want Israel to separate itself from:
