Exactly as obscene as accusing an African-American politician of "lynching" his opponents or a female prosecutor of "raping" witnesses on the stand. But hey, it's for a righteous anti-Zionist cause so why not:

Lauren Booth has found herself stuck in the Gaza Strip. The British left-wing activist arrived in the Hamas-controlled coastal enclave as part of the dozens of 'Free Gaza' activists... with the intent of "breaking" the Israeli naval blockade imposed on the Strip. Booth is one of the 10 activists who chose to remain in Gaza... Since then she has been stuck in Gaza... Booth slammed Israel's policies and called Gaza "the largest concentration camp in the world today"...

When asked about Israel's right to respond to incessant attacks emanating from Gaza, Booth evoked Holocaust-related rhetoric... "You were in the concentration camps, and I can’t believe that you are allowing the creation of such a camp yourselves. “The Palestinians’ suffering is physical, mental and emotional," she went on, "there is not a family here in which someone is not in desperate need of work, shelter or food. This is a humanitarian crisis on the scale of Darfur."

The Nazi death camps, of course, were tracts of land in which Jews elected their own governments, had their own schools and hospitals, built their own armies, and enjoyed total freedom of religion. The Jews in the death camps were the world's largest per capita recipients of aid, part of which they used when they left annually to make holy pilgrimages. They always returned, though, to produce newspaper, radio, and television programs that celebrated wiping out other religions. Leftover aid was used to build and launch thousands of missiles at German schools and hospitals, after which the international community would rush to protest any German counterattacks. That's why millions of Jews were born, lived their whole lives, and then died of old age in hospitals at Auschwitz.

The sarcastic paragraph about this moron's Darfur comparison proceeds basically the same way, except with more emphasis on how people in Darfur are notorious for refusing to accept food so they can intentionally create media-friendly humanitarian crises.

She'd better be careful about the whole Gaza = Darfur equation, though. Another few of those and the UN might have to take notice of Darfur - thereby wasting precious time that could be spent demonizing Israel. Better to stick with Jimmy Carter's strategy and insist that Darfur isn't a genocide.
