A whole bunch of different terrorists - JPost is putting the number at 4, including ones from Abbas's oh-so-moderate Fatah - worked together to shoot up the main fuel distribution outlet for the Gaza Strip. That would be the one that was reopened at full capacity after Hamas put on a show for the international media and pressured Israel into giving Palestinian terrorists fuel for their "operations" - and, apparently, victims for their terrorism. Unity in the name of the glorious Palestinian cause:

Two people were killed Wednesday afternoon in exchanges of fire which erupted near the Nahal Oz terminal in the central Gaza Strip, the Magen David Adom emergency services reported. Medical teams were making their way to the scene of the incident. IDF officials estimated that two gunmen infiltrated the fuel terminal, hit two Israelis and fled back into the Strip. Simultaneously, a large number of mortar shells were fired at the area. A senior Palestinian source confirmed that a group of gunmen had infiltrated the terminal, near the Israeli border with the Gaza Strip. According to the source, the gunmen were affiliated with the Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades, the Popular Resistance Committees' the Salah al-Din Brigades, and Fatah's Mujahideen fighters of the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. The source further said the fight "will go on until the last bullet."

Ha'aretz: "The infiltration occurred after the latest delivery of fuel funded by the European Union, Western diplomats said." Of course it did. And that's in addition to the well-planned ambush that killed an elite IDF soldier this morning. It's nice to see that the Palestinians are embracing Israel's unilateral withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. At least phrases like "go on until the last bullet" don't imply that the exact same thing will happen when Israel hands over land in the West Bank.

UPDATE: More across the board Palestinian cooperation:

The army raised the level of alertness to level three, the highest level, throughout the Negev. Three terror groups, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees and Fatah's Mujahideen Brigades, claimed responsibility for the attack. Mortar shells were still being fired at Israeli communities in the area several hours after the attack.

Hours of mortars coming out of the Hamas-dominated Gaza Strip. Nice to see that they could find their way into the news cycle.
