Congratulations to the Palestinians for successfully holding themselves hostage through their intentionally engineered Gaza humanitarian. The spectacle of them economically, politically, and literally starving themselves has forced Israel to supply more fuel to people who will use it to drive to the border, set up rockets and mortars, and launch them at Israeli schools and hospitals:

Diesel fuel supply to the Gaza Strip will return to previous levels, Defense Minister Ehud Barak decided late Thursday evening. Barak approved supplying 2.2 million liters per week - the amount supplied before Israel began taking steps to cut diesel fuel, fuel and other infrastructure essentials in an effort to stifle the terrorist group Hamas which is in control of the coastal territory. The decision is part of the state's reply to the Supreme Court on petitions submitted by the Gisha and Adala NGOs, that both requested the court issue an injunction forcing the state not to cut supplies to the Strip.

Now that Hamas soldiers have direct access to as much fuel as they need, maybe they won't go around stealing it from hospitals so that they can gas up their jeeps. We'd also like to congratulate the UN and the AP and Reuters and the Red Cross for helping Hamas sell the story that the fuel shortages were Israel's fault. We're sure that this will definitely help bring peace to the region.
