Palestinians Embrace Peace By Dropping Dozens Of Rockets And Mortars On Israeli Schools And Hospitals
The Palestinians are certainly getting the message that it's peace now:
Gazans greeted US President George W. Bush with more than a dozen Kassam rockets and mortar shells on Wednesday, including one instance in which a mother and baby narrowly escaped death as a rocket slammed in to the Sderot house in which they were staying. Shortly thereafter, Palestinians said, two Gazans were killed and four were wounded by an IAF strike in Bet Hanun. Palestinians said the two fatalities were innocent bystanders - Hadra Wahdan, 52, and Muhammad Kfarneh, 15.
The Palestinians are the only people on the planet who consistently have "innocent bystanders" in close proximity to rockets and mortars being fired on civilians. These are presumably the same people who get killed because they innocently decide to fix their antennas in the middle of firefights - their antennas coincidentally located in what very much appear to be snipers' positions.
Ironically, we're pretty confident that Bush's peace overtures to stop the Palestinians from constantly dropping rockets on schools and hospitals in Sderot. If all goes according to his most recent plans, there won't be any Jews left anywhere near there. And what self-respecting Palestinian terrorist would waste a rocket on a town without any Jews in it?
Only vicious anti-Semites or delusional international sophisticates would suggest that Israel should make concessions to lunatics who are dropping bombs on mothers and babies at that very moment.
