Hananel Edri, Israelis Born For Peace [Video]
The Camp David Accords were before our time and we mock them for obvious reasons. Egypt is one disgruntled general and a bullet away from being the most dangerous country on the planet, and they've already got more than a couple disgruntled generals. Eventually one of them will manage to get close enough to Mubarak to transform Camp David into a historical mistake of staggering proportions.
But wow does Hananel Edri make 1978 look good. You want to believe. This is from the 2007 celebration in Melbourne celebrating the independence of the Jewish State. One of the very, very classic Israeli folk songs, titled: "I was born for peace":
We're sure that there are lots of culturally significant Arab songs celebrating peace with Israel. It's just that they're hard to find. Or something.
