Full disclosure: the actual purpose of this post is to get this creepy as hell Israeli video out of our inbox, because we keep clicking on it and it keeps creeping us the hell out. But this is apparently the kind of thing that teaches toddlers to be nice to each other. The actors are singing about the things they love: the sun, the stars, the seasons, their parents, each other, etc etc. Basic idea: lots of love. It's no creepier than Barney:

And here's a cartoon that aired on Hamas TV last week. It's like the Israeli song about loving other people, except it's about how murdering Israeli soldiers is awesome and how getting martyred as a little kid is glorious. For reasons inscrutable to human logic, MEMRI disables embedding of their videos so you either have to click on the image to watch or you can just read the transcript. The transcript misses something of the literal drumbeat of war, though, so you'll be missing out on that. It's totally surreal:

That mind numbing refrain about how kids' schoolbags are for carrying stones so they can attack Israelis - do you think that might have anything to do with why Palestinian kids in Gaza have low test scores? Or do you think that the UN's right and that it's the distraction of violence?
