The United States is preparing to force Israel to make major concessions to Abbas's Fatah party (not to the Palestinians of course - because a huge swatch of them support Hamas - just to Fatah apparently). In the meantime they are pouring millions in training and weaponry to Fatah soldiers. You're welcome:

Ingrates. So Abbas either agrees with this or is too weak to stop it. Either way - why is the State Department pressuring Israel to give him land again? And remember the mantra of realists and international leftists: the US and Israel are not fighting the same enemies. No common enemies here.
