Tuesday Headline Link Dump - Palestinians Set Peace Process Conditions And The Israeli Right Implodes (Plus: There May Be No One We Do Not Hate)
Busy day. Apologies in advance.
* Palestinians say that they won't attend summit unless Israel commits to resolving all issues in advance. Presumably that means that they're demanding resolution on the Right of Return before they'll show up in November. Which is good, because our November is kind of packed anyway and we didn't have time to write about a summit.
* And then there was the time that Israel Beiteinu head Avigdor Lieberman decided to destroy his political career (and yet somehow he still feels entitled to spout this nonsense). If Arieh Eldad isn't paying Lieberman and Shas to promote his emerging secular right-wing party, someone's getting ripped off.
* FYI - Palestinians still bombing Israeli schools and hospitals. Aspiring political analysts take note: the person who correctly guesses if Barak can force Olmert to roll into Gaza before November wins everything.
* This is actually good. It's been a while since we had a decent reason to dislike ultra-orthodox Jews. Shut. Up.
* Poor John McCain. Mel Gibson isn't making a movie this fall, so he has to put up with this. This is actually good. It's been a while since we had a decent reason to dislike liberal Jews. Shut. Up.
* This is going to be a lot of fun.
