NYT Editorial Board To Host Ahmadinejad For Lunch (Update: Not True. Joke Gone Wrong (Updated Update: "Press Luncheon With Ahmadinejad" Joke Fake But True!))
UPDATE 02: So we spent the morning thinking "of course a major press outlet would fete Ahmadinejad". Then we found out it was a joke, and we spent the afternoon thinking "maybe we shouldn't be so quick to assume that our worst stereotypes of other people are true" (it is erev Yom Kippur after all). Turns out: no, they're pretty much all true:
Ann Coulter's positions often lack something in the way of circumspection, but she has a point when she complains that liberals don't hate this country's enemies like they should.
