We can totally understand how the entire world demands that Israel reason with these people. There is nothing pathological about the way that they link religion fanaticism with indiscriminate violence:

Now here, the glib, moral equivalizing leftist would say: "well, Israel uses the survival of Judaism to justify violence against the Palestinians so it's the same thing." Now first, we refuse to believe that Palestinians really think that Israel is trying to wipe out all Muslims - and we would point out that if they do believe that, then we're back to the original "they're too crazy to be negotiated with" problem. But whatever. Even if they could reasonably believe that, there would still be a difference. Yu will never see mobs of Israelis reveling and wallowing in high Palestinian causality numbers. Because that, you see, is sick and twisted.
