In honor of the blogging conference going on in Israel right now - a conference that we're not at all jealous that we're not at, because we have no interest in Communications or blogging - here's a quick dump of Israeli blogs. As usual, we'll take the opportunity of a dump to warn you that for the next month - that's 30 days - blogging will be about half of what it usually is. Posts per day will be about half of what they usually are, and some days may have no posts at all. Life calls. Please don't go anywhere, as we'll be back bright and early by the middle of August.

* Buried inside this list of miscellany from AK Sommer is the single most significant non-military story of the season thus far. We're not joking or exagerating. And no, it's not the one about breast implants.

* Ari's Blog reports that American products are taking over Israeli supermarkets. In the meantime, for the first time in twenty years we can't get Pzek Zman candy bars in the Israeli part of Los Angeles. The scale of the injustice is staggering to contemplate.

* Israelity discusses the White Nights celebrations in Tel Aviv. These are a bunch of all-night dance parties and art exhibits in honor of UNESCO's decision to declare Tel Aviv a World Cultural Heritage Site. Which begs the question: is there even a way to measure just how beautiful that name is? Was "Staying Up And Scratching Your Nose Nights in Tel Aviv" already taken?

* Israelli - the New York Consulate's blog that obstinately refuses to blogroll us despite our staggeringly significant contributions to Israeli cultural diplomacy - has a story about how an Israeli man wrestled a leopard that leapt through his window and into his bed. Insert tired joke about ex-girlfriend here.
