Neat - Autonomous Robots With Weapons Strapped To Them
Apparently, somewhere between the transition from social Darwinism to a full-on welfare state, the human race lost the will to survive. Ergo, this:
What do you get when you combine a robotic vacuum cleaner and a taser? You get automated pain, that's what. Roomba-maker iRobot, Inc. and Taser have been hard at work on a less family-friendly robot for police and the military, and it sure as hell won't clean your floors.
The floor-cleaning reference is an allusion to iRobot's line of vacuuming and floor scrubbing robots - or as they're referred to in our studio, Rosie the Roomba and Daphne II the Scooba. Mock them if you're so inclined, but you should know that their cousins apparently pack heat.
