This Summer's War With Syria - Syria Openly Brags About Preparing For War
And wouldn't you know it, it's the Jews' fault:
This is beginning to look eerily familiar. On the even of the 1967 war, Prime Minister Eshkol gave a speech in which he said that Israel would not be an aggressor and that "peace lay in Damascus". Arab leaders hysterically pointed to this statement as proof that Israel was preparing to invade Damascus - because that's obviously what Eshkol was trying to say. It's almost like they'll take any excuse to try to wipe out Israel. And don't let anybody tell you otherwise: they were out to commit mass genocide and destroy Israel:
Every time Israel manages to extract itself from the noose, the existence of that noose is retroactively denied to denigrate Israel and to save that elusive but all important Arab pride. Then Israel's enemies get busy openly preparing a new noose and declaring their intentions all over again - secure in the knowledge that the UN save them if they lose, and that history will cover up their crimes.
