A couple of you wrote in about the sublime perfection who was Ofra Haza and that is her Jerusalem of Gold piece from last week's Shabbat Beauty. Not a few commented about how devastating it was to lose her so young. There's an official tribute page for her on MySpace. They've got videos, books, and a tons of other stuff by and about her.

There are also tribute videos floating around, some of them by Israelis of not a little talent and repute. This one of Eyal Golan, posted on YouTube a couple days ago, is particularly heart-wrenching. You don't have to understand Hebrew to feel moved. If you do, then this is your official tissue warning:
