Israeli Justice Ministry Unamused By Latest Amnesty Smear
Amnesty blah blah. Tear down defensive fence blah blah. You know what? If you're a human rights organization, you have to take it as a bad sign when a legalistic democracy uses the phrase "[not] even a vaguely factual presentation" to mock your accusations. From the Justice Ministry's response to this hatchet job:
For what it's worth, the Israeli MFA is slowly entering this century. The DC embassy has begun sending out updates and responses in something that approximates blog-time - even at its worst, it helps us guess how badly Israeli spokespeople will mishandle whatever slander anti-Israel advocates are floating that diva. On the other hand, the MFA still refuses to embed permalinks in their bulletins. Helpful this is not.
