Oh For Crying Out Loud. Pelosi Now Actually Meeting With Iran (?? )
Stan IMd us with this last night. Both he and we think you need to take it with a grain of salt because it's just "rumors" - but both he and we think it's probably also a trial balloon because politicians don't have "just rumors":
"Speaking just for myself, I would be ready to get on a plane tomorrow morning, because however objectionable, unfair and inaccurate many of (Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's) statements are, it is important that we have a dialogue with him,'' Lantos said. "Speaking for myself, I'm ready to go -- and knowing the speaker, I think that she might be.''
"However much the things he says are worthless, it's important to listen to the things he says". We'd go into a rant about the Democratic Party at this point, but honestly we just don't have the energy any more. See and here for two recent rants, or just use your common sense.
Every vote for every House Democrat, no matter how personally laudable the candidate was, helped put this woman in the position of power that she is today.
