PJM Interview With Moledet MK Dr. Arieh Eldad

As one moves right along the Israeli political spectrum, Moledet Party is right where we begin to get uncomfortable and start shifting awkwardly in our seats. They advocate, among other things, the voluntary, reimbursed transfer of Palestinians from the West Bank. Wife and husband filmmaker team Daphne Weisbart and Michael Fenenbock interviewed Moledet MK Dr. Arieh Eldad for Pajamas Media, and the interview is now online. Dr. Elad is the head of the plastic surgery and burns unit at the Hadassah Medical Center - so it doesn't take much to imagine how he came to believe strongly in the political positions that he does. The interview is thoughtful and measured - well worth a few minutes of your time.

If nothing else, it's interesting to see the difference between Israeli "extremists" and Palestinians "extremists". And how small differences like "voluntary" vs. "genocidal" seem to fall away in the vast majority of media coverage.
