That Thing About the US Promising To Boycott the Hamas Government? They Lied.
We're already skeptical that a ten percent increase in aid is the same thing as a boycott. But it's still amazing to see how quickly the State Department will rush to legitimize genocidal maniacs:
This is a day after Hamas signaled that they were going back to terrorism in their attempts to wipe out the Jewish state.
If you're a anti-Israel terrorist, you can be as insane and anti-Semitic as you want. If you just outright refuse to even consider compromise, the world will eventually just sigh and accept your genocidal goal as a legitimate starting point for negotiation. And then you can blame Israel for not negotiating and giving you a chance - even though you admit outright that you'll never accept Israel and openly boast that past concessions have only strengthened your military position.
How does someone even respond to this? Israelis complained for over a decade that the Palestinians were sliding back into the most vulgar kind of incitement and hatred, and the world insisted that Israel should try harder to "offer a political horizon". The deal was that Israel could take back their concessions and the world would support them if the Palestinians ever really did backslide all the way into open rejection of Israel.
Except the opposite happened - because any insult or threat, no matter how outrageous, is in-bounds when it comes to Israel. Just ask Ahmadinejad, if you can catch him in between fawning appointments with leading internationalist thinktanks
