Exodus, of course, tells the story of a ship full of Jewish immigrants to British-mandated Palestine. They were denied entry because, at the time, Britain was trying to suck up to powerful Middle East Arabs - and they didn't want any Jews in the region.

And so we're wondering: was it also anti-Zionism back then that made them find Jews unseemly? Because that's the excuse they're using now, and so we're just wondering what time machine they used to pull that trick off.
