MR Has A Question For Democratic Jews: Are You Fucking Retarded?

We just can't take it any more. Are you people out of your fucking minds?

For her friends on the Jewish left, senator Clinton stirred longings for First Lady Hillary. Given her flip-flopping attitude toward the Israeli-Arab conflict, they regard the possibility of First Man Bill with a mixture of joy and fear. The closer she got to launching her campaign, the more Clinton distanced herself from the democratic left and positioned herself in the center. Her friends on the Jewish left accept this with understanding, even if they are not too pleased about it.

Like most of the Jewish community, liberal Jews support Clinton's positions on domestic issues, especially social matters (such as workers' rights, abortion, stem cell research and health insurance). Clinton's positions on these matters are considered anchored in solid values. According to public opinion surveys by Jewish organizations, most community members are more concerned by domestic issues than by the candidate's "Israeli-Arab" record. For them, choosing between Clinton and the Republican candidate is a no-brainer.

Holy shit.

She sat next to Suha Arafat while that anti-Semitic lunatic slandered Israel with a blood libel. And Hilary just sat there. Which would have been bad enough. But then, afterwards, Hilary went and embraced her in solidarity. Literally kissed her. Look:

Hilary Embraces Suha Arafat After Blood Libel

Are you getting this? Suha Arafat accused Jews of poisoning innocent children. A vicious anti-Semitic canard that has cost hundreds of thousands of Jewish lives. And not content with sitting quietly while Arafat incited hatred against Jews, Hilary responded by embracing her. What - exactly - does a Democrat have to do to lose the support of American Jews?

And don't start with that imbecilic "but we support their social policies" or "being anti-Israel isn't being anti-Semitic". Shut. Up. The Democratic party is structurally anti-Semitic, and it has nothing to do with their tendency to appease lunatics who seek the destruction of Israel (although, honestly, maybe that's something you ought consider). Rather: the Democratic party is structurally anti-Semitic because at very level, from its moderates to its populists to its veterans to its base, it's filled with real life anti-Semites.

Democratic "moderates"? Anti-Semitic:

Wesley Clark: Hebes From Hymietown Will Push Us Into War With Iran

When we asked him what made him so sure the Bush administration was headed in this direction, he replied: “You just have to read what’s in the Israeli press. The Jewish community is divided but there is so much pressure being channeled from the New York money people to the office seekers.”

The Democratic base? Viciously anti-Semitic:

And you know what? Let's play a little game. You say: "but there are non-anti-Semitic leaders who aren't beholden to the viciously anti-Semitic Democratic base, and we're supporting them". And then we say: you're either willfully ignorant, woefully illiterate, or aggressively stupid:

Lest you believe there’s even a shred of stigma remaining from the “screw them” episode or the ongoing flirtation with strident “anti-Zionism,” here’s the United States Senate’s majority whip head-patting the cretins whose leader once told him to “go f*** himself” when he apologized for comparing prisoner treatment at Gitmo to that at Nazi death camps and Soviet gulags.

Electing Democrats puts in place people who, to keep their power, have to respond to their viciously anti-Semitic grassroots. And they know it. Not convinced by Durbin's delegation of Democratic policymaking to anti-Zionist activists? Here's some video of the most powerful man in the Senate talking to the "please don't be anti-Semitic out loud any more" Kos community:

Oh, and then there's Jimmy Carter. We're not even going to give you a link. If you don't know, we're not helping you.

Listen.

The GOP isn't the perfect home for the Jew working towards an anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic world. There are social conservatives in the Republican base who would deprive homosexuals of rights. We oppose them. There are Baker realists who would sell out Israel to their oil sheik friends. We loathe them. And the Bush administration has more or less embraced the State Department's Arabist inclinations. Suffice to say that we're not fans.

But come on - this isn't even close. The Republican party is beholden to a base that supports Israel's right to exist. The Democratic party is beholden to a base that treats Israel as a pariah committing a modern-day Holocaust against poor and defenseless Palestinians. No amount of inside baseball sophistication can alter this basic fact. Democratic politicians must represent and placate anti-Israel lunatics.

You don't have to vote. But seriously - gleefully supporting today's Democratic party? What happened to your self-respect? Or, for that matter - what happened to your sense of basic decency? The Democratic base is anti-Jewish and the Democratic party has a platform antagonistic to the Jewish State. Honestly, this is not that complicated.
