The LA Times: "Islam gets concessions; infidels get conquered." Ummm... Wow
The Los Angeles Times publishes something so reasonable and verifiable that it could have come from the blogosphere. The title alone is gorgeous and true: "Islam gets concessions; infidels get conquered. What they capture, they keep. When they lose, they complain to the U.N." This article will seriously impact our ability to mock them for, like, two days:
You should read the whole thing. It will tell you absolutely nothing that you didn't already know, but sometimes chewing on red meat is good just so you get some protein. And as you read it, do recall that we spent the better part of last summer constantly using the line "the United Nations, where Israel's Arab enemies run when Israel starts shooting back" - and that during that time the Los Angeles Times was talking mostly about how evil Israel was. Not that we think we have even the tiniest iota of influence over the LA Times. We just think that it would be kind of nice if we did, since they're so egregiously wrong so much of the time. And since we're so angelically calm and reasonable.
