Friday (J)Blog Roundup - 2006-09-15

* Pamela has updated her Al Durah post with an email from Rich Landes about how today went in France. Our increasingly-shrill insistence that you pay attention to this will cease when France stops staging vaguely familiar trials to protect anti-Israel propaganda (or, honestly, when the trial ends). See also: Daled Amos, IsraPundit, and Israel Matsav.

* How insane are Israel's Muslim enemies? MEMRI has tape of Kuwaiti MP Dr. Walid Al-Tabtabai condemning Iranian nuclearization because he doesn't trust them to only do good things with nukes. Good things like dropping them on Israel.

* Jews react to Muslims reacting to Catholic pointing out that Islam is theologically incompatible with St. Augustine and St. Aquinas: AbbaGov, Israel Matzav, IsraPundit

* The womens, they loved Ms. Fallaci: Pamela, Anne, Judith, and neo-neocon. The guys did too, but these four posts are particularly heartfelt.

* Anne wonders why TIME would suggest that Nasrallah doesn't want to hit children when, you know, he says he does

* Israel Matzav gets teased with Fatah / Hamas civil war. You know he's just setting himself up for disappointment.

* Dave Bender says you should go look at EarthTrek's gallery of Israel pictures.

* Clarice Feldman, first alternate on MR's list of stalkees, is both bubbly and sarcastic about Hillary and the Bolton nomination. We have a more fundamental, albeit less snarky, question about Democratic demands for Bolton-related records. Specifically, if you want to know 'what he's going to be like as an Ambassador to the UN', isn't the best indicator (as in reliable enough to overwhelm any predictive value of past documents) the stuff he's done as Ambassador to the UN?

* Sol thinks that Mel Gibson might be an anti-Semite, but that even if so Abe Foxman is still an idiot. Done and done.

* Saudi man taking picture of women in burkas on vacation - we think it's fake but true. And funny. Very funny.

* Meryl has good news from Germany.

* Hey, you know how like three posts down there's this gigantic post that talks about how the Saudi Initiative screws Israel procedurally because it pretends that Israel hasn't already been giving concessions under the Roadmap - and how that wouldn't matter anyway because its 'four million hostile Arabs should be allowed to overrun Israel' commitment makes it a non-starter? Vital Perspective catches Saudi Arabia reviving it in preparation for an international push.

* Jack Kemp (not the politician) has a report at American Thinker on liberal journalism and press leaks. We're beginning to believe that there are liberal intellectuals who are not exactly serious about the Islamofascist threat we face.

* IRIS Blog reminds you that (a) Egypt gets billions of US aid and (b) they're really, really enamored with Islamism.
