Hey, Let's Just Let All the Terrorists Out
Did they bash a little girl's head in with a rock after murdering her father in front of her? Let him out!
Defense Minister Amir Peretz, responding to Lebanese guerrillas' prisoner exchange demands, acknowledged on Wednesday that a Lebanese terrorist held in a deadly 1979 raid was at the center of talks to free the two kidnapped IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev... Asked about Kuntar, Peretz did not rule out the possibility of releasing the Lebanese terrorist. "There is no doubt that Samir Kuntar is one of the central questions being dealt with in any negotiation of this type," Peretz told Israel Radio on Wednesday. "But I suggest that we allow this issue to be dealt with in a very, very secret, very serious, very significant manner."
Are they Hamas leaders responsible for a decade of suicide bombings? Let em out!
A day after Hamas and Fatah agreed to establish a national unity government, a military court decided Tuesday to release 18 Hamas lawmakers pending an appeal, in what a senior Palestinian Authority official in Ramallah claimed was part of a deal that would ultimately lead to the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.
What? That's not enough? Let out more!
According to the official, the next phase of the deal calls for the release of Shalit. Several days later, Israel will release about 800 Palestinian prisoners, including minors and women, as a "goodwill gesture" marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and not as part of a prisoner swap. "This deal was reached with the help of some European and Arab friends," the [PA] official added, though he refused to elaborate. "The ball is now in Israel's court and, if all goes according to the plan, we could witness dramatic developments in the coming days."
