Is "Hollywood is pro-Republican" just the dumbest argument ever?
You know, we were reading the Corner, and followed the link to Podhoretz's review, and we thought "hmm... seems pretty unfair". Then we went a little further on and clicked through to John Miller's review, but it seemed really long so we clicked "END" to see if we could just get the conclusion without all the stuff in the middle. But all that's at the bottom is a quote from some ABC flack giving a really bad defense of the fake Berger-doesn't-kill-OBL scene: "composite scene... within the rules of docu-drama" seems less like a defense of the scene and more like a reason not to make docu-dramas (cf. Munich). By the time we got to Jonah Goldberg's pox on all their houses post, we were ready to not care.
But holy hell, these people are just. flat. crazy. Just outright totally batshit crazy. Up to their eyeballs in crazy. They threatened ABC's license? Where's George Clooney. Someone get effing George Clooney on the phone right now. There's censorship to be attacked! Where's his pride at being out of the mainstream now?
