Subtle Guardian Anti-Semitism Getting Kind of Boring, To Tell You the Truth
So of our posts yesterday, one was about the Guardian's "everyone can stop worrying - Hezbollah TV is doing just fine" story, and the other was about backhanded ways that people are trying to compare Jews to Nazis. We forgot to mention that in the Guardian story, there was a backhanded comparison between Jews and Nazis:
Israel blitzed the station's Beirut headquarters in the opening days of the recent conflict, levelling it to rubble. But within minutes the station transferred to a new location from where it resumed broadcasting its mix of news, prayers and propaganda.
They really couldn't come up with another verb then "blitzed"? It's times like this that we long for the media to stay consistent, and just begin every paragraph with "Israel savagely attacked..."
