The Next Generation of Arabs May Not Like Jews Very Much Either
You know how people say that if only Israel withdrew to the Green Line, Israeli and Palestinian children could live in peace? Not these kids:
[Camp director] Hisham launches into a monologue on history from his perspective: "We teach the children the truth. How the Jews persecuted the prophets and tortured them. We stress that the Jews killed and slaughtered Arabs and Palestinians every chance they got. Most important, the children understand that the conflict with the Jews is not over land, but rather over religion. As long as Jews remain here, between the [Jordan] river and the sea, they will be our enemy and we will continue to pursue and kill them. When they leave we won't hurt them."...
Fadl, 11, lives near the beach. His mother is American, his father Palestinian. They lived in Virginia until a few years ago when they came to visit his father's family and so that Fadl could learn Arabic... Regarding Jewish-Arab relations, Fadl is quite decisive: "I think that what they are teaching us here about Islam and the Jews is correct. There will never be peace with them."
And if you click on this link, you'll see a video from Hezbollah TV where a little three and half year old girl is coached to recite from memory that she "doesn't like the Jews... because they are apes and pigs".
How does she know? Because she was told by "God... in the Koran".
What did a Jewish woman do to Muhammad? We quote the interviewer: "of course she put poison in his food, this Jewess".
The beginning and the end of the tape feature the interviewer praying to Allah that the entire "next generation of children will all be true Muslims... and know who their enemies are". So this thing about Arab and Muslims kids growing up in peace? We're not so sure.
