European Royalty Say Funny Things
Once upon a time, intermarriage amounting to inbreeding caused genetic maladies and mental deficiencies across many lines of European royalty. Also, there's this story:
The sister of Dutch Queen Beatrix, [Princess Irene], has stepped into the limelight to declare that the West should initiate peace negotiations with al-Qaeda in an interview with De Volkskrant, one of the country's top newspapers... "Western leaders of government have to take some steps. Talking to al-Qaeda and demonstrating that by doing that you can put an end to the classic enemy-view with real and open discussions", according to Irene.
We're not even sure that Princess Irene comes from those old lines of royalty. But in this world of chaos and indeterminacy, we owe you at least the attempt of an explanation.
