Oh Come On
Since Israel has been making massive concessions to the Palestinians in the last half a year, including a unilateral withdrawal under fire - while the Palestinians have responded by making up Israeli air-strikes so they'll have excuses for firing missiles into Israeli towns - of course major Leftist organizations would be rushing to punish Israel:
British lecturers and students have renewed attempts to enforce an academic boycott on Israel as means of protesting Jerusalem's policies in the Palestinian territories. Recently the British Committee for Universities of Palestine (Bricup) has begun holding public meetings on campuses in the United Kingdom, in partnership with Palestinian lecturers. Their stated aim is to raise awareness of the situation in Palestinian universities, as well as to promote the concept of an academic boycott.
At first blush, it might seem like this is implacable anti-Semitism searching for an anti-Zionist pretext to continue targeting the Jewish State. But just because a new report has discovered that extremist organizations have infiltrated more than 30 British institutions of higher learning, that's no reason to conclude that their intentions are anything but humanitarian.
