You Know How They Say Anything's Possible? Some Things Are Not Possible.
Yeah right:
Hamas could one day amend a charter calling for the destruction of Israel and hold negotiations with the Jewish state, a political leader of the Islamic militant group in the West Bank said. "The charter is not the Koran," Mohammed Ghazal told Reuters in an interview in Nablus on Tuesday. "Historically, we believe all Palestine belongs to Palestinians, but we're talking now about reality, about political solutions ... The realities are different."
Well, he's kind of right. The Hamas charter is not the Koran. But it does quote the Koran and, stating that it commands Hamas to conquer Israel as an Islamic Waqf. So as long as you believe that these people will alter their interpretation of the Koran for "political" reasons - and if you believe that Hamas is furiously smuggling weapons into Gaza for no reason at all - then you can believe this guy.
