Palestinians Threaten to End Ceasefire More
If Palestinians start murdering Israelis again, they want you to know that it's gonna be the Israelis' fault:
Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia said on Saturday Israel's expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank could bar the establishment of a viable Palestinian state and renew bloodshed.
And if Israel doesn't expand settlements in the West Bank? Well, then the Palestinians will renew bloodshed anyway:
Muhammad Deif, commander of Hamas's armed wing, Izzaddin Kassam, announced in a message to the Palestinians that his group would continue its struggle until Israel was destroyed.
This game is getting tired. Abbas gets to talk out of one side of his mouth about reigning in terrorists and out of the other side about overwhelming violence. Hamas, by their own admission, is going to continue attacking Israel regardless of Israeli settlement activity - so either Abbas can physically capture them, in which case no amount of Israeli construction should trigger "renewed bloodshed", or he can't stop them, in which case bloodshed is inevitable anyway. At yet, when the next Hamas attack comes, look for it to be Israel's fault.
