Practice Makes Perfect

The BBC reports that Abbas pledges end to Palestinian attacks in Gaza. Abbas pledges a lot of things:
On March 1, 2005 he pledged to "unify the security forces" [how's that going -- ed "Not good for the immediate and foreseeable future" that's a shock]
On January 11, 2005, he pledged to "move to peace" [I hear that's not going well either not as such, no]
And on June 9, 2003 he pledged (wait for it....) an end to Palestinian attacks in Gaza same headline.
Again, either Abbas is too weak or too untrustworthy to do anything about murderous Palestinian terrorism. With the return of daily attacks against Israeli civilians, the distinction is irrelevant.
