« Palestinian Rocket Attack, Murder Threatens Fragile Ceasefire | Main | That's a Strange Headline »

Oh, That Makes Sense

Development of a Palestinian democratic public sphere in the Gaza continues to progress. This was buried at the bottom of a story about how Israel is undermining the ceasefire by killing people who undermined the ceasefire:

Gunbattles erupted in Gaza City's Zeitoun neighbourhood as Palestinian police began searching for Thursday's attackers.
Militants set fire to a police station and four military vehicles.
Two unarmed Palestinian teenagers watching from the streets were killed in the exchange of gunfire between police and masked gunmen.
Outraged relatives of the victims fired guns into a local hospital.

Two things:
(1) Can someone please give the Palestinians the "no firing into hospitals to express your displeasure with the police" memo
(2) It's so depressingly predictable that the international media would bury or entirely neglect to report that the Palestinians are now shooting up hospitals.
