Our July 10th story "Blame the Jews", discussing the scapegoating of Israel by anti-Semitic lunatics and by the Blair government, appears to have been based on an AP lie. Turns out Blair did nothing of the sort - see, inter alia, IsraPundit, Meryl Yourish, and virtually the rest of the pro-Israel side of the blogosphere. On the other hand, the other part of the story - about anti-Semitic lunatics blaming Israel - does indeed turn out to be true.
