Fifth Column Watch
Can we throw him in jail this time:
Attorney General Menahem Mazuz ordered police Tuesday to launch an investigation on controversy-plagued MK Ahmed Tibi, for traveling to "enemy state," without acquiring the proper permission.
Tibi, of course, used to be an adviser to Arafat back when Arafat wasn't allowed to admit that he still liked making Jewish children dead - every time there was a terrorist attack, they used to trot out Tibi to talk about how Israel wasn't fulfilling its obligations so that Arafat wouldn't have to condemn the attack. Within the last couple years, he's taken to going to Arab countries and calling for "resistance" to Israel (oath of loyalty what?) This isn't free speech, it's treason.
UPDATE: I missed this the first time:
Tibi insists that to his mind, "Lebanon is not an enemy state. And besides, I did not intentionally violate the law, but my tight schedule prohibited me from informing the Interior Ministry of my travel."
Of course Lebanon is not an enemy state to everyone - it depends whose side you're on.
