Why the Hurry?
Another major British organization is trying to divest from Israel:
A move by the Anglican Church to discuss divestment from Israeli businesses supporting the -occupation of Palestinian territory- is causing grave concern among Britain’s Jewish community... Of added concern is that the Anglican move follows last year’s decision by the Presbyterian Church (USA) to divest its holdings in Israel, with other denominations considering similar moves.
Why, when Israel is on the brink of making huge territorial concessions, would we be seeing a huge spike in venomous divestment efforts? Could it be that they're afraid that they're running out of time.
