Hey Israeli Supreme Court, Shove It
Israel is a democracy built on the rule of law, which is fine as far as it goes. But countries built on the rule of law should be careful not to stack their high court with pansy-ass internationalists:
Regarding at least three of the petitions, the High Court has asked the state to take into consideration the arguments of the International Court of Justice in its advisory opinion of July 9, 2004, when it declared the fence illegal and said it should be dismantled.
The Hague has no jurisdiction over the fence, and even if it did the UN recommendation that sent the case over to the ICJ was odious. The Israeli Supreme Court should know better than to give that witch-hunt either juridical or normative sanction.
