UC Irvine Muslims React to Anti-Terrorism Memorial
A couple days ago, Jewish and pro-Israel students at the UC Irvine held a somber memorial for the victims of terrorism. Yesterday, the Muslim Student Union responded by celebrating terrorism. To speak, they brought in Amir-Abdel Malik-Ali, known for such charming quotes as:
"We ain’t gonna lose. We must implement Islam as a totality," in which "Allah controls every place - the home, the classroom, the science lab, the halls of Congress."...
"You're [Jews] walking into all the traps we want you to walk into. You hijacked American foreign policy"...
"Sooner or later, today’s Muslim students will be the parents of Muslim children. And they should be militants"
With such a committed peacenik providing the kind of measured rhetoric that provides the groundwork for reasoned discourse, it's of course no surprise that you'd have people dressing like terrorists and wearing adorable, terrorist-quoting t-shirts. Remember, this travesty is in reaction to an event mourning those whose lives have been destroyed by savage murderers.

Yes, THAT Sheikh Yassin... THE spiritual leader of the Palestinian struggle for freedom
She really believes someone stole Palestine from her family - her poor refugee family that lives in Orange County and sends her to college
I always get nervous when people preach "jihad" and celebrate "paradise"
MLK, of course, was a huge fan of suicide bombing
An Arafat tote-bag. It's like a little piece of Madison Avenue right here in Irvine!
Terrorist-style keffiyehs are great for shading you from the hot California sun
This guy's job is just to stand there and look hard. That's what he does all day. Also, he wears green Hamas armbands.
Kodak moment. The guy in the white turban is the same guy who protested the Bus 19 memorial in front of a poster commemorating victims of terrorism.
A fully dressed advocate for Palestinian rights
I don't know what everyone's talking about - the phrase "Zionist lobby" has no anti-Semitic connotations for this crowd!
"Islamic Palestine" - a democratic, pluralistic Palestinian state is just around the corner, Mr. President.
