Andrew Sullivan is taking a hiatus from blogging for the next nine months or so. He's served as exactly the kind of voice that the Right needs: calling for freedom and democracy here and abroad. He's willing to say to the Left that if protecting the rights of women, gays, and minorities in the US is important, then certainly protecting their lives overseas is more-so.
