All Those Unilateral Hostages

The Left's charges of unilateralism take two forms – Bush was unilateral before the war, and he failed to secure other nations' aid and personnel after the war. Not even Kerry thinks that Bush's supposed unilateralism during the war (which, say, Britain might dispute) is really all that damning - the war went quite well regardless of how it was run. And I just hope that Kerry won't be talking to China, Japan, South Korea, Canada or Britain about how Bush didn't secure anyone else's involvement in post-war Iraq - they're much too busy trying to free the people the people they sent to help in post-war Iraq to take his calls.
