Every story I've seen on the most recent attack at the Erez crossing mentions the fact that had the Palestinian police there not intervened, the damage could have been much worse. Thus far I've been remiss in writing about that, so I'll remedy that this morning along with a link to a good overview of how and why the Palestinians keep targeting the Erez industrial zone (hint: it has to do with that "cooperation" thing).
