An appearance more recent than the one posted yesterday, this time about the Afghan withdrawal. One one side there’s a guy quoting outdated and incomplete studies, on the other side there’s me quoting more recent and comprehensive UN figures, and underneath there are the YouTube commenters. The notoriously delightful YouTube commenters.
As to whether Obama’s politics-soaked Afghan withdrawal will complicate our global alliances and the region’s stability – done as it was with such haste that it almost caused Petraeus to resign – that’s no longer an open question.
